Front Porch Refresh

Our front porch is one of mine and Greg’s favorite spots. Come Spring, once the kids are down, you can find us out there winding down and recapping the day. So this Spring, I wanted to give it some love.

We have had this furniture from Target for about 5 years now. I cannot find the exact set anymore but these two are pretty similar: Option 1 and Option 2.

Anytime I’m refreshing my porch with a new look I power wash first. It makes such a difference and I actually enjoy doing it. It’s one of those jobs that is super satisfying. You can find our power washer here.

One of the first things I knew I wanted to add was an outdoor rug. I found this rug and its perfect for the space. I might be crazy for getting white, but I saw someone else power wash this exact rug and it looked brand new so that is my plan at the end of the season! Find our rug here. It’s currently 60% off!

Next up were pillows. I found these cute pillows at Target and they have a zipper for easy cleanup! I was going to go with a colorful pillow but decided to keep it neutral and match the rug. Pillows can be found here.

I also found this table and watering can in the patio section at Target and thought they were a perfect fit.

The finished product!

The plant and cordless diffuser were my last two finishing touches! The plant I grabbed from inside my house. Whenever I’m making over a space in my house I always like to “shop my house” first. This plant wasn’t thriving indoors so I’m hoping it will outside!

And lastly, this diffuser is a hot commodity. If you love to diffuse, you know there are not many cordless diffusers. This is the best one I have found. It not only smells great, but in the summertime we love to diffuser citronella to keep the bugs away!

Slide to compare the before and after!

Next up for the porch is to get the planters filled once the weather is more consistent! Stay tuned!
